The stitched apartheid memories of two local black women's embroidery groups were animated for a multimedia choir performance of South African struggle songs. Part of the Journey to Freedom Narratives, comemmorating 10 years of democracy in SA.

Kevin is a normal five year old boy.  He doesn't know he is living with AIDS.  This is a book of memories for him and about him.  It is a book about being alive.

Defying the secrecy and shame with which AIDS is treated in South Africa, Nonkundla Lolose shares her courage and her strengthIn a town where 1 in 4 people are living with AIDS but 90% are ignorant of it, in a country whose government refused at the time to provide free health care for people living with AIDS, the only enemy is giving up hope.

"What went wrong" was shot entirely in natural light in a derelict factory building in Grahamstown. Its narrative was conceptualised as a quest with an open meaning. The editing strategies employed seek to reflect this process.

Living with the dead. 2002.

Many people in Grahamstown believe in ghosts and have experienced them. In this film, haunted houses are investigated as one of many existential experiences, which the modern west has cut itself off from, but which have never ceased to make themselves known.
