A group of artists digitally animated the stitched apartheid memories of two local black women's embroidery groups. The result was a multimedia choir performance of South African struggle songs comemmorating 10 years of democracy in SA. Part of the Journey to Freedom Narratives, a conference between the University of South Africa and the University of Mississippi, which was celebrating 40 years of civil rights in the USA.
